Nimitz Library

NROTC Berkeley was originally headed by the famous World War II fleet admiral, Chester W. Nimitz.  Admiral Nimitz kept a personal library at the NROTC Unit.

Unfortunately, in 1985 Callahan Hall (the ROTC Building at UC Berkeley) containing the “Nimitz Library”  was mainly destroyed by arson.  Still, many of Admiral Nimitz’s personal artifacts remain in today’s Nimitz Library, alongside a large collection of military history and warfighting literature. PDF’s of this literature can be found here.
